When it comes to TV shows and movies, Apple TV+ is definitely about quality rather than quantity: its catalog can be much smaller than Netflix or Prime Video, but it is consistently delivered some of my very favorite shows – such as Shrinking. Sugar. Resignation And many shows that do not begin with the letter ‘s’. So the message of its highlights in mid -2025 is actually very exciting.
There are lots of goodies here including golf comedy StickThe Guy Ritchie Adventure Fountain of Youth and Jason Momoa Historical Epic Head of War. But there are also a few notable omissions, including the next seasons of For all of humanity and Foundation. Then sci-fi is best stored for the darker nights in colder seasons.
Apple TV+ has put the teaser trailer online (it’s embedded below), and for me there are three titles that are particularly exciting; My iPhone will definitely be in flight mode for these.

Slow Horses Season 5
It’s a weird, weird game – you have the theme of your head now, right? – And the game resumes with the fifth season of this excellent entertaining spy thriller.
We knew we didn’t have to wait too long for this season because it was filmed back to back with last year’s season 4. But we don’t know what it will be, because so far Apple TV+ has only given us a single still (above) by Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman), which typically looks undeveloped. But with four seasons under our belt, we know what to expect: Skulduggery, Treachery, Lamb’s terrible hygiene and river (Jack Lowden) that bites more than he can chew.
Mordbot

Apple released the trailer to Mordbot yesterday and i am very, very, very excited about this one because it feels like a sci-fi story with clear Deadpool Vibber. Based on the brilliant and very beloved books by Martha Wells and with Wells on board as a consultant, it is the story of “a self -cracking security Android that is horrified by human feeling that is still drawn to his vulnerable clients.” The trailer has been received warm by Mordbot Fans, it really made me laugh and I can’t wait for it to start streaming from May 16, 2025.
Echo Valley

Look at
Premiere 13 June, Echo Valley Could leave me an emotional wrak. Julianne Moore is Kate, whose troubled daughter Claire shows up covered with blood. Someone else’s blood. Written by Mayor of Easttown‘S Brad Inglesby and with Sydney Sweeney as Claire, it’s about grief, secrets, addiction and how far a parent will go to protect their child.
Talking to BlackMoore said that “there is a lot of action in this movie but [Kate]is an ordinary person. What she does is extraordinary because she faces it, not because she is able to do these things. She just feels she is going to. “
Variety says the film is much bigger than it reads: “There is horses and diving, a dramatic set of piece involving fire, and more fighting scenes.” And it “will leave the audience discussing their own moral boundaries.”
