The postmortem for an 11-year-old girl who was found dead in the Surjani city has confirmed that she was sexually abused before she was murdered, according to the police surgeon.
Police surgeon dr. Sumaiya after Mortem, performed by police surgeon, found that the victim was suffocated with a rope or similar object. While Dr. Sumaiya verbally informed police of choking, PS Surjani Town stated that a written report is waiting. Police Surgeon’s verbal confirmation did not include evidence of rape. “When the written report from the medical legal officer is received, a murder case will formally be registered,” he added.
Police have handed over the victim’s body to her family for funeral.
