Rawalpindi:
Security forces have killed another 14 terrorists in a “sanitization operation” in the Zhob district of the fleeting Balochistan province, the military said on Saturday -a day after 33 terrorists were neutralized while trying to infiltrate to Pakistan from nearby Afghanistan.
The military’s media wing said that a “deliberate sanitization operation” was performed in the surrounding areas of Sambaza along the Pak-Afghan border between the night between 8 and 9 August.
“During the performance of the operation, 14 Indian sponsored Khwarij hunted and neutralized successfully,” ISPR said in a statement. “Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the slain Khwarij.”
A day earlier, ISPR reported that the security forces had averted an infiltration attempt in the Sambaza area in Zhob the night between August 7 and 8, when 33 terrorists were “sent to hell”.
The number of Khwarij, which was killed in two days, has now risen to 47, added the statement, releasing what it described as air images of the targeted terrorists in mountainous terrain.
Terrorists from the forbidden Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) responsible for much of terrorist violence in the country-are officially appointed “Fitna al-Khwarij.” Officials claim that they receive financial and material support from India’s intelligence agency, RAW.
ISPR stated that security forces remain obliged to secure the nation’s borders and prevent attempts to sabotage peace, stability and progress in Pakistan.
TTP and its affiliated groups fled across the border to Afghanistan after their defeat in Zarb-Ea-Azb military offensive in the former tribal areas. That established the shrines that have since served as launch pads for cross -border attacks.
In Afghanistan, TTP threw a symbiotic alliance with other terrorist equipment – especially Balochistan Liberation Army (Bla) – to intensify the operations inside Pakistan. Islamabad officials say they have credible evidence of both tactical and strategic coordination between blas deadly majed brigade and TTP.
These claims are repeated in the latest UN Security Council Report, which unequivocally says that Majeed Brigade and TTP maintain “close coordination” in their terrorist activities. The report highlights several high -profile, complex attacks in 2025 as evidence of their operational synchronization.
Pakistan has repeatedly called on the temporary Taliban regime to honor his promise under the Doha agreement not to let Afghan Earth be used by transnational militant groups against other countries. However, the Taliban has so far refrained from shopping against these clothes, with reports suggesting that it considers them as leverage in its dealings with neighboring countries.
