A 14-year-old girl holding US citizenship, reportedly abducted from the Sundar area of ​​Lahore, has probably been recovered from the Jhang district, police confirmed on Wednesday.

The teenager identified as Fatima Zahra was allegedly lured and taken by a suspect named Hassan, who has since been in custody and faces abduction taxes, according to Express News.

The case received immediate attention from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, which received quick action from law enforcement. Deputy Inspector General (You) Investigation Zeeshan Raza awarded a specialized team to the case, led to a successful improvement of the girl and her safe return to her parents.

The expiry was originally reported by the girl’s mother at the Sundar police station. Authorities said the suspect manipulated the minor and transported her to another city.
