150 stranded trucks were allowed to cross into India

Islamabad:

On Thursday, Pakistan allowed 150 stranded Afghan trucks that carry goods to India, crossing the Wagah border and facilitating a week’s long bottleneck.

According to a document issued by the ministry on Thursday, a request from the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad on April 28 concerning containers stranded at various transit points in Pakistan.

“The Ministry has the honor of informing that in view of the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Pakistan’s government has decided to allow stranded Afghan trucks carrying goods in transit to India.”
