ISLAMABAD:
An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) granted post-arrest bail to 153 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists on Friday, while rejecting
24 PTI workers in D-Chowk protest case.
ATC judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain heard the bail pleas of 177 PTI activists. Out of 48 accused against whom the cases were filed at Karachi Company Police Station, 43 bail applications were accepted and the 5 accused rejected.
The court accepted the bail objections against the sureties of Rs 5,000. It had reserved judgment on Thursday after the conclusion of arguments.
