Haider Murtaza also reviewed the Digital Financial Literacy Training offered at the centers and said the initiative aims to equip the beneficiaries with the knowledge required for proper use of SIM cards and wallet accounts.
He explained that wallet accounts are being opened on these SIM cards and that in future all BISP payments will be made exclusively through these digital wallets, increasing transparency and promoting financial inclusion.
He added that the initiative would play a crucial role in empowering women and strengthening their financial independence.

The Director General categorically informed female beneficiaries that the SIM cards are absolutely free and no money should be paid to anyone under any circumstances. He stressed that social security purses are entrusted to women as a responsibility that must be protected with utmost care.
He advised recipients not to share their wallet details, PINs or SIM details with anyone and to ensure the security of their SIM cards at all times. In case of any complaint or problem, the beneficiaries were asked to immediately contact their nearest BISP Tehsil office or call the BISP Helpline on 0800-26477.
Expressing satisfaction with the progress achieved so far, the DG directed the concerned staff to further speed up the distribution process while maintaining the quality of service. He also directed field staff and service providers to ensure smooth operations, effective crowd management and strict adherence to standard operating procedures, reiterating a zero tolerance policy for negligence or misconduct.
The Director General appreciated the efforts of the field teams and urged them to continue the work with dedication and professionalism.
