The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has sent 25 Pakistani students to jail on the custody imprisonment after being arrested for trying to use false visas to settle in the UK.
The FIA presented the students to the legal magistrate Ahmed Shehzad Gondal’s court, in which their physical custody was denied. Instead, the court ordered a 14-day judicial custody prison for the students.
The FIA officials informed the court that the students had manipulated with passports in an attempt to travel to the UK and run there.
Students’ attorneys filed applications for bail on the occasion and the court postponed the hearing until March 24, when the lawyers will present their arguments.
A case has been registered against the 25 students at the FIA and the investigation continues.
