Rawalpindi:
Pakistan Railways has closed Pakistan Railways Advisory and Consultancy Service (Pracs), which repeats 280 employees in the midst of a serious financial crunch.
The move triggered a strong setback from the person concerned staging a protest against the decision. They raised slogans against the railways, blocked the road and announced plans to challenge the closure in court.
Railways sealed Pracs offices and transferred valuable items such as computers, furniture and other equipment in two large rooms. Previously, 80 employees were completed on April 6.
