Rawalpindi:
Security forces killed 30 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sararogha area of the South Waziristan district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Public Relations (ISPR) said between services (ISPR) in a statement on Tuesday.
The ISPR, the media wing of the military, said IBO was performed on Monday on the “reported presence of Khwarij” an expression used for terrorists belonging to the forbidden Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
“During the performance of Operation, his own troops effectively engaged the KHWARIJ location, as a result of thirty Khwarij being sent to hell,” it said. “Sanitization operation is carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as the security forces in Pakistan are determined to wipe out the threat of terrorism from the country,” it added.
President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their successful operation in South Waziristan. The president confirmed the government’s decision to completely eradicate Fitna al-Khwarij.
Security forces perform operations to eliminate the spectrum of terrorism. The whole nation is united against terrorism, ”the president said, reiterating that the operations against Fitna al-Khwarij would continue until its full elimination.
The Prime Minister declared that security forces would continue to avert the dishonest designs of the enemies of humanity. He added that the security forces with each existing day were moving closer to their goal of removing terrorism.
“The sacrifice from the sons of the earth will not go in vain,” the prime minister said. He added that the government and security forces were fully obliged to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.
Security forces have intensified operations against the terror elements of the affected parts of the country, including the Waziristan region. In the recent past, the forces have made scores of IBOs in the north and the southern Waziristan districts that kill a number of Khwarij.
Over the weekend, a UN report revealed that Afghan Taliban’s continued support for the forbidden TTP despite Islamabad’s increasing pressure to cease to back the clothes, fuel to the group’s escalating attacks in Pakistan.
The 35th report from the analytical support and sanction monitoring team, which was submitted to the UN Security Council, assessed the pacifier landscape, which was made up of these clothing. It said the extent of TTP’s attack in Pakistan had increased significantly.

Meanwhile, who approached a group of college students last week, the Chief of Army Staff (Coas) described General Syed Asim Munir Fitna-Al Khawari as a disturbing group and declared categorically that Pakistan would not allow them to impose their ideology on the country.
He said Fitna-Al Khawarij was unaware of Islam. “We are fighting the anarchists from Fitna-Al-Khawarij. These external elements distort the true teachings of Islam and violate its principles,” the army chief noted.
With quoted verses from the Holy Qur’an, General Asim Munir reinforced his attitude towards Fitna Khawarij, where he said the Qur’an clearly prescribed serious penalties for those who wage war against Allah and his Messenger (PBUH) and spread anarchy on earth.
General Asim Munir reiterated that the Pakistani army fought against corrupt elements that mistakenly interpreted Islam. He said Khawarij violated Islamic teaching, and religion had clear directives of such unrest.
