Islamabad:

At least 31 innocent civilians, including children and women, were martyred and 71 others sustained injuries after Indian forces fired missiles in six different places in Pakistan at night between 6 and 7 May, the military spokesman said Wednesday.

Director-General, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), LT Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry told a press conference that Indian troops also launched Feige attacks across the control line (LOC), which deliberately targeted civilian populations and places of worship.

In the small hours of Wednesday, India launched missile attacks on six cities in Punjab and AJK, after a long attitude and sabre rattling over the Pahagam attack in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on April 22.

DG ISPR said early in the morning that Feige Indian forces performed unprovoked strikes in six places in Pakistan, making “24 influences”. He said the strikes targeted mosques and civilian neighborhoods.

He identified the beaten places like Masjid Subhan in Ahmadpur East; Masjid Bilal in Muzaffarabad; Masjid Abbas in Kotli; Mughalpura mosque in Murideke; And an empty dispensary in Shakargarh. In addition to a missile that was wrong, another fell and another in an open field in Kotli Loharan in the Sialkot district. The deadliest attack was in Ahmadpur East, where 10 members of the same family were among the martyrs.

The military spokesman told the press conference that Pakistan -armed forces provided an appropriate response to India’s naked aggression, and an obvious terrorism, adding that no Pakistani army staff or Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft were damaged in these clashes.

DG ISPR said that 31 civilians, including children, were martyrated and 71 wounded in attacks by Indian forces on Pakistan’s civilian population. He said a major cause of the increase in injuries was India’s continued unprovoked firing on the line with control (LOC) and truce violations.

“These innocent children had a life ahead. Were the terrorists who India targeted? We expected this barbarity from India,” he said. “Now the evidence that India promotes terrorism is before the world. Today, everyone knows on a global scale that India is involved in terrorism and killing.”

DG ISPR said when the state of Pakistan began to tighten the noise around the terrorists, India even began on terrorist operations with its army. “Targeting children at night to 6th and 7th is terrorism and we will give an appropriate answer to this terrorism,” he said.

Such actions, Gen Chaudhry said, showed the extremist and irrational thinking behind Indian military planning under current leadership without regard to human life, international legislation or aviation safety.

“At that time, there were 57 international flights operating inside Pakistan’s airspace,” he said, adding that the consequences of any of those affected “may not cross the minds of those who undertook this meaningless aggression.”

Pakistan armed forces responded quickly and effectively, giving an “appropriate answer” to Indian aggression, he said. He added that heavy Indian shelling along Loc continued, claiming another five lives, including a five -year -old child.

“The army responded fully to Indian aggression and destroyed several checkposts,” he said, showing recordings of a broken brigade headquarters from which he said India violated Loc Ceasefire as well as a unit battalion’s headquarters. Chhatri, Jura and Sarlia-1 positions were also affected, he said.

“The targeted areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir [AJK] had recently been visited by international media, which had already postponed the baseless Indian propaganda and claims. Beating the same places seems like a desperate attempt to justify their false tale through violence. “

DG ISPR confirmed that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot five Indian fighter jets down-to-three Rafale jet, a MIG-29, an SU-30 and an Israeli-made Heron Drone. “Not a single Pakistani aircraft crossed into the Indian airspace, and none of the Indian jets were allowed to enter ours,” Gen Chaudhry said.

DG ISPR said Pakistan’s response was purely defensive and triggered only after the Indian aircraft tried to violate its airspace. He added that PAF could have shot down more than 10 aircraft, but chose to show maturity and strategic restraint.

DG ISPR said India had also targeted the Nauseri Dam near the Neelum-Jhelum waterpower project, which has caused damage to critical infrastructure and danger of thousands of civilians. “Targeting water reservoirs is not only illegal under international laws, but also pose a humanitarian risk.”

DG Ispr said the nation has faith in the Pakistani army and the Pakistani army has faith in its brave nation. “We will defend the home country with unity. Pakistan Army will never compromise with people’s safety. The nation stands by the army, so that I pay tribute to them on behalf of the army.”

He called for the international community, especially the global aviation and hiking rights organizations, and called on immediate announcement of India’s provocations, which pose a serious threat to regional peace and civil security.

Airports fully operational

Meanwhile, Pakistan Airports Authority (on) in a number of updates on Wednesday confirmed that all airports across the country were fully operational, with the national airspace was safe and accessible to civil aviation.

It clarified that despite tension, efficient and safe control of Pakistan’s airspace, continues to secure the uninterrupted and peaceful flow of both domestic and international commercial flights. However, due to operational requirements, on a new message to Airmen (Notam) has temporarily suspended several aircraft routes in Laorrest’s airspace.

The aviation authority had initially declared a full shutdown of Pakistan’s airspace after India strikes. The closure, which was set for 48 hours, led to suspension of all flights and passengers were asked to return home. The flights at Lahore Airport resume after a temporary suspension.

At the same time, air operations in Islamabad International Airport have also been restored. Flights arriving at Islamabad are allowed to land for the help of Air Traffic Control (ATC). The authority also confirmed that partial operations in Islamabad’s airspace have resumed.

Pakistan has also allowed foreign airlines to use its airspace for flights on the way to India. On Wednesday, Uzbekistan Airways Flight UZB-423, traveling from Tashkent to Delhi, entered the Indian Punjab through Lahores’ airspace.

According to CAA sources, the plane deviated briefly from its planned route near Kashmir and passed through Lahore. It is important that it has formally informed the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) about the serious threats set for civil aviation due to the irresponsible actions of India.
