4 Nations Face-off: Trudeau sends fiery message to us when Canada wins

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent a fiery message to the United States on Thursday night as his country won 4 Nations Face-off in an overtime thriller.

The game was played in the midst of political dispute between Trudeau and President Donald Trump when the US world leader has teased Canadian legislators that the country was its “51st state.” Trump has also openly called Trudeau the “Governor” in Canada. It continued on Thursday in front of the game.

“You can’t take our country – and you can’t take our games,” he posted at X.

Politics infiltrated Hockey earlier this month when the NHL and NBA fans booed “The Star-Spangled Banner” when Trump announced Customs against Canada, which has since been paused.

Booing continued into the 4 nations that are face and it culminated in a round of fistic buffs under the first match of the United States and Canada. Three matches took place in just nine seconds after Canadian fans lived the national anthem in Montreal.

The United States was able to pull a win in that game.

Canadian fans drowned smashing by boos in the td garden as they sang “O, Canada.” American fans followed up with their own song by National Anthem.

When the dust was cleared, it was the Canadians who held 4 Nations Trophy.
