McCaffrey did not have a damage designation on Wednesday and has been healthy throughout the high season. He played in 10 total matches from 2020 to 2021 due to injuries.

The 49s acquired McCaffrey from Carolina Panthers in 2022 and joined the NFC championship and the Super Bowl in his first two seasons with them. However, when McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk and other LED injuries, San Francisco missed the playoffs last season for the first time since 2020.
