Islamabad:
There was a strong shaking of an earthquake of 5.4 sizes in the federal capital, Punjab and several areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) late on Sunday night, but there were no immediate reports of damage or material damage.
According to Express News, the episent was placed in Afghanistan. KP Rescue 1122 spokesman Bilal Ahmad Faizi confirmed that shock was felt in various districts in the province.
In Punjab, Jolts was reported in Rawalpindi, Murree and adjacent areas, causing widespread panic. Many residents rushed out of their homes and recited beans. Several parts of KP also experienced trembling where people in Peshawar left their homes in fear.
