An earthquake of 5.9 largely moved on Thursday Islamabad, Rawalpindi and several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the seismic surveillance center for Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
According to the Seismological Center, the Earthquake’s episents were placed in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region at a depth of 111 kilometers.
Shaking was reported in Peshawar, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Malakand, Bajaur, Mohmand, Shabqadar, Charsadda and Parachinar as well as Nowshera, Hangu and Kohat. There was also a shock in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Swat and Attock.
In Punjab, Jolts was experienced in Mianwali, Chakwal, Talagang, Kallar Kahar and adjacent areas, while Multan also reported the shaking. In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, strong shocks caused residents to rush outdoors.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, people in the Neelum Valley and Dhirkot Today felt.
No immediate reports of loss or damage have been received.
