- High End Munich 2025 -Show will start soon on May 15
- Chord Electronics and IFI Audio has teased mysterious new products
- Luxury cartridges, headphones and Qobuz Connect will also star
High End Munich is where the sound world shows some of the latest and best audio equipment for audiophiles, often with price tags from “If you need to ask, you can’t afford it”.
And while it is true that some of the equipment you see on the show costs more than a helicopter made of diamonds, it is a fascinating insight into the world of Ultrahøj-end Hi-Fi.
This last event from Munich – it will move to Vienna next year – is really exciting, and some producers are already teasing what they want to show next week. Here are five teasers of the hi-fi sky worth looking for.
High End Munich 2025 Show: 5 debuts to expect
1. A “groundbreaking” chreat electronics “Showstopper”
The British advanced pro-sound mark chord Electronics describes its Ultima-Referencing range of pre-amperson and power amplifiers as “our absolute highlight of sound technique” and it teases a “groundbreaking” new product that will be a “showstopper” in High End Munich.
So what is it? It is definitely analogous, it becomes a flagship product, and it is apparently also advanced. That’s all we know so far, but it will be revealed by company founder John Franks, and we see it on the first day of the event, May 15.
2. Meze Audio 105 Silva -Headphones
Meze Audio makes some beautiful and unusual headphones, and the new 105 Silva promise “exquisite design” and “The next big step forward to sound innovation”.
The new headphones have 50 mm dynamic drivers with cellulose composite domes and titanium-covered environments, and Meze says the sound signature “is a new recording of Meze sound’s iconic properties, including the technicians in 109 Pro combined with the heat and genre of 105 AER.”
They are likely to be somewhat more expensive than the more consumer-focused, open and wired 105 AER cans ($ 399 / £ 369 / AU $ 799 a couple) we saw recently but we’re fascinated everywhere.
3. A new flagship patron from Nagaoka
Nagaoka manufactures the highly regarded MP-200 cartridge as well as the MP-110 that came to mount in Fluance RT85N turntable.
In High End Munich 2025, it shows that it reveals its new flagship, the MP-700, which will apparently deliver “increasingly refined and accurate sound reproduction, bringing listeners closer to the original performance.”
Of course, it will not be exactly an apartment purchase, with the price expected to be $ 1,399 / £ 1,149 (around AU $ 2,400) when it becomes available later this month. But it certainly sees an appropriate way for the company to celebrate its 85 -year birthday.
4. IFI Sound -Barable Products

IFI Audio promises to launch “two new travel sounds essential boats for flight and i-car sound”.
We are excited about it because we really evaluate IFIS DACs: Our latest IFI Review of its flagship Valkyrie DAC, emerged about its “staggering complete sound”. However, it is not exactly portable, so we are all ears when it comes to these new products.
5. QOBUZ Connect
Qobuz, which is undoubtedly Best music streaming platform For Hi-Res Audio, a press conference has Thursday 15 May. Could this finally be the official launch of the long -awaited Qobuz Connect?
The feature is similar to Spotify Connect, allowing you to control your Qobuz playback external on compatible hardware. It has been in beta for a while and began to appear for non-Beta app users earlier this week, which would make High End Munich 2025 show a good place for a bigger reveal.
An official launch is likely to coincide with more manufacturers announcing support and releasing the relevant firmware updates.
