Guangzhou:
Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday visited the headquarters of the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI) in Guangzhou and marked a significant milestone in Pakistan-China scientific cooperation.
During the visit, BGI announced the delivery of 500 training grants to Pakistani experts aimed at improving skills and expertise in the field of genome. This initiative is set to elaborate bilateral ties and open new opportunities for collaboration in cutting -edge biotechnology, “the minister said.
When he spoke to the occasion, the minister described Genomics Partnership as “a new chapter in Pakistan-China friendship.”
