As the search-and-strike operation continues in Kurram, the security forces have arrested 57 terrorists and recovered looted goods along with a large cache of weapons.

According to Kohat RPO Abbas Majeed Marwat, the arrested individuals were involved in an attack on a convoy carrying important food supplies.

Meanwhile, authorities have intensified the efforts to gather weapons from local residents of Mandory, Ochat and Charkhel.

Under the Kurram satisfaction agreement, weapons from both of the conflicting sides had to be surrendered. Originally, unlicined arms were collected from Bagan and the surrounding areas.
