January has finally run its course. But before it makes room for the shortest month of the year, the world’s best streaming services will have you check out the latest new movies and TV shows they’ve released this month.
There is an eclectic blend of movies and TV series that can also check out. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man (Disney Plus)

I’m a huge spider-man fan so when this Disney Plus-Series-Originally Titled Spider-Man: Freshman year -In originally announced in the middle of 2021, you can bet I was excited. Over three years later, and Your friendly neighborhood spider-man Finally, with us, albeit as a show found next to Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), rather than the canonical series it was originally intended to be.
So is it something good? You need to read my spoiler light review of Your friendly neighborhood spider-man‘s first season to find out. For the time being, all I would say is that it is incredibly divisive and often times clunky animation style aside, this Marvel Phase 5 production may have enough to swing our way into our best Disney Plus show list. – – TP
Recruitment season 2 (Netflix)

While The night agent Season 2 continues to dominate the Netflix -hit lists, Recruiting is another spy-thriller who is ready to deliver more heartbound action and unpredictable phrases in its second installment. Noah Centineo returns as CIA lawyer-facing Spy Owen Hendricks, who is being drawn into a life-threatening espionage event in South Korea, but he soon realizes that the bigger threat may be coming from the agency.
With its 68% rotten tomatoes score, Recruiting Don’t do this on our best Netflix -Show List but I know it will saturate my thriller appetite when I’m done watching The night agent Season 2. – Grace Morris, entertainment writer

In one of January’s latest new prime video films, chaos follows as the danger of a break-to-be (Ferrell) and the sister of another bride (Witherspoon) discover that their destination weddings are booked this weekend.

Mythic Quest Season 4 (Apple TV Plus)

It’s two years since Workplace Comedy Series Mythic QuestLast season debuted on Apple TV Plus, but the wait for a new rate is finally over as Season 4’s first two episodes fell Wednesday (January 29).
As one of my 26 most expected TV shows from 2025, I am happy to stream the acclaimed show’s next chapter, which is expected to bring fresh challenges to the fictional game study as it navigates new trends in the industry. Apple doesn’t say anything else about what might be in store, so you just have to stream it to find out.
Of course, as it’s the last season of one of the best Apple TV Plus showsAt Fans may be disappointed that the series is approaching, but the good news is that there is already a spin-off show in the way called Side Quest, The first four episodes, of which premiere on March 26. Paradise (Hulu/Disney Plus)
Look at
Hulu -subscribers received a treat earlier this week when the first episode of Paradise dropped early. Now there are two episodes to sink your teeth in, with episodes 2 and 3 launches on, yes, its official release day on January 28.
If you are looking for a gripping new political thriller, the series already has an impressive 86% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which means it’s worth a place on our best Hulu show list. The series also has a major role crew, including Sterling K. Brown, who plays a security service team that is tasked with protecting a former president (James Marsden), but things take a trip to the worse when – spoiler! – The latter is murdered by an unknown attack. New episodes arrive every Tuesday (in the US, yet – international audiences can stream them on Wednesdays via Disney Plus) until the final on March 4th. And Lucy Buglass, Senior Entertainment Writer
American Manhunt: OJ Simpson (Netflix)

This four-episodocueries explores one of the most notorious attempts in history: the population of the state of California versus Orenthal James Simpson, alias one of the world’s largest basketball stars of his generation. Director Floyd Russ has already made a similar documentary about the Boston Marathon bombing and i, i, i American Manhunt: Oj SimpsonHe aims to shed new light on what has been described as the “trial of the century.”
In a speech with Tudum, Russ emphasized: “The key was to make sure both sides were balanced. To make it clear that this is not just a true documentary about crime. It’s much deeper. So you need people to contextualize the story, the trial ”. With lots of hit real crime show on Netflix, there’s a lot to dive into, so of you are eager to learn more about the trial and have an interest in legal cases, it’s your weekend view sorted. – – Lb
Goodrich (Max)

Michael Keaton goes back to his comedy roots in Goodrich, One of January’s new Max movie It initially debuted in theaters last year. Written and directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer who is behind the 90s Feel-Good comedies as The parent trap and The father of the bride, This new Max comedy movie sounds like it will draw on your cardiac strings.
Keaton plays a father called Andy Goodrich, who suddenly has to become the primary caretaker of his two nine-year-old twins when his wife enters a 90-day rehabilitation program. Unknown with modern parenting, Andy looks to his daughter from the grace of his first marriage (played by Mila Kunis) to learn the ropes.
As you can probably expect, this Andy and Grace bring closer together as they repair their father and daughter Bond, who probably have some since his new marriage. This one has the potential to be one of the best max movies. – – SEAM
