Current point (Netflix)
Look at
Looks like Netflix is hoping to follow the success of Hit Apple TV+ Sports Comedy Ted Lasso With its new series Current point. Kate Hudson swaps football to basketball and assumes the role of a woman Ted Lasso style sports leader in Isla Gordon, who has unexpectedly been responsible for the Los Angeles waves, one of the most famous professional basketball franchise in the United States. In short: She has to prove that she is the right person for the job.
To go out of the trailer alone, Mindy Kaling-created series shares a similar humor and cheerfulness as Ted Lasso. We’ll see if it’s an ideal clock while we wait for a Ted Lasso‘s rumor the fourth season but based on its 69% critical score on the rat tomatoes, it does not live its rival’ critical recognition. – Grace Morris, entertainment writer
Lord of the Rings: Rohirrim’s War (Max)

Look at
An exciting and late addition to our everything new at Max in February 2025 -Article is Lord of the Rings: Rohirrim’s War. Set nearly 200 years before Lord of the RingsOne of February’s latest new Max films tells the story of Helm Hammerhand (expressed by Brian Cox), the legendary king of Rohan. Rohirrim’s War Focuses on Rohan’s last stand against Dunlendings after he inadvertently kills their leader and releases a complete war.
With its 49% rotten tomatoes score from the critics, Lord of the Rings: Rohirrim’s War Doesn’t it come on our best max movie list. However, I think it is still a unique and enjoyable way to bring the amazing world of the middle-ground to life, especially in its anime format. – GM
House of David (Prime Video)

Look at
House of David is a new prime video show that chronicates the emergence of the biblical figure David (Michael Iskander), also known as the famous king of Israel. The historical drama follows the once powerful King Saul (Ali Suliman) when he falls victim to his own pride, and with the direction of God, the Prophet Samuel (Stephen Lang) a teenager ostracized as the new king. Cue a battle over the throne.
Show Creator Jon Erwin told ABC Entertainment News that House of David looks like Game of Thrones As it explores the fight for powerAt So this biblical epic certainly has the potential to be one of the best prime video shows. However, whether Amazon’s latest TV original will be up for debate. – GM
Berlin is (Apple TV Plus)

Look at
It takes a lot to knock Resignation Season 2 from the top location, both in terms of Apple TV+ locations and my own personal but I am ready to give Berlin is A trip. There is fierce competition when it comes to our best Apple TV+ show and only time will show if this new series will come on that list. Fans of popular medical dramas like Gray’s AnatomyAt House, and new max -series Pitt Will probably enjoy this, but I hope it is enough for newcomers in the genre as well.
The program of eight episodes follows a young doctor looking for a new start after her personal life falls apart. The treatment? Throwing himself into the emergency of Berlin’s busiest hospital. Of course, this is no easy task, and she soon finds herself fighting for staff resistance and a worn -out system, which is plenty to distract yourself with, in all justice. You can’t think of your personal problems when you’re out there saving life, right? – – Lb
Toxic city (Netflix)

Look at
Corby -toxic Waste Case was not something I had heard of until this Netflix show was announced, but after reading about it, I know this dramatic retelling makes me cry. The four-part series follows three mothers who fought for justice after a growing number of babies were born with birth defects. The reported number was three times higher than those observed in children born in the surrounding regions, so it was up to ordinary citizens to get to the bottom of it. This case resembles a disturbing resemblance to the Teflon scandal, as dramatized in the glorious film Dark waters, As I also recommend that you check out.
If Toxic city‘s plot was not enough to connect me, the role crew is determined, with huge names including Doctor Who Alumnus Jodie Whittaker, Bank of Dave Stars Rory Kinnear and Sex lessons‘s Aimee Lou Wood everyone involved. Are we adding this to our best Netflix -Show List? You will have to wait and see. Based on its early glowing reviews, however, it seems to a no-brainer. – – Lucy Buglass, Senior Entertainment Writer
Doubt to Believing Liverpool: Klopps Era (Prime Video)

Look at
As a huge Everton fan, I feel particularly dirty writing about our biggest (not mentioning local!) Football -Rivals in Liverpool FC. But given that no one else on the entertainment team is interested in the so -called beautiful game, I have to suck it up. I want the record to show that I’m really not happy about this!
Yet, Doubtors of Believed Liverpool FC: Klopps era is a must-see Prime Video Docuseries for all who religiously follow the current English Premier League leaders. The four-part show will deliver unprecedented, fly-up-wall access to Jurgen Klopp’s last six months in charge of the Anfield-based footballer clothing and will look back on his trophy-golden magic form responsible for one of the world’s most supported pages.
Amazon has become go-to-place for the best sports documents around, but this is one that I certainly won’t put in to look at. Yes, I’m just as bitter! – – TP
2025 Oscars (Hulu)
It’s that time of year again! We celebrate the biggest and best in the movie world this weekend, and we have all gained strong thoughts about who should and should not win. Not surprising, I root for The fabric To do well after hailing it as the best body horror in 2024. Meanwhile, my colleague Rowan Davies said he couldn’t think that Netflix’s Emilia Perez is this year’s most nominated movie or TV show at the time of the Golden Globes-nominated, so the controversial film is still frustrating cinema lover as we go into the Oscar Society.
However, there are plenty of great releases worth rosing and I expect great things from ConclaveAt The brutalist, and Anora. Sometimes these ceremonies are full of surprises, so we have to wait patiently for the results. Don’t miss the entertainment industry’s biggest awards ceremony when streaming at Hulu (USA), ITV1 (UK) and Channel 7 (Australia). – – Lb
