My Oxford Year (Netflix)
Look at
Remember how One day Arrived suddenly on Netflix and instantly made us bend our eyes out? I have a fun feeling of it My oxford year will have exactly the same effect.
One of August’s new Netflix films tells the story of ambitious American students traveling to Oxford in England to fulfill his dream, but meets a charming local who changes both of their lives. I wonder if the locals just happen to be tall, dark and beautiful?
Given that this is also an adaptation of Julia Whelan’s novel, we can virtually guarantee My oxford year becomes a sludge -dunk for the streamer. Stick a lot of rosetone that Notting Hilland bundles of sweet nerdy chemistry. Frankly, it’s cheaper than trying to study abroad. – – Jasmine Valentine, entertainment writer
Eyes of Wakanda (Disney+)
Look at
The latest Marvel project that has Ryan Coogler’s award-winning creative fingerprints on it, Eyes of Wakanda have launched on Disney+ three weeks earlier than anyone expected.
A four-part anthology series that further explores Wakanda’s history, also known as the technologically advanced African nation, found in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), follows this Black Panther spin-off series Different Wakanda-spy-cum warriors for four time periods when trying to regain their country’s stealed objects and weapons. Eyes of Wakanda is also available fully on Disney+, so you won’t be done to wait a week between every 30-minute rate.
It’s back to see if it will earn a place on our best Disney+ Show List. But with Coogler attached, I would be shocked if this beautiful animated series does not continue Marvel’s recent hot-streak (in my opinion anyway) on the big and small screens. – – TP
Final Destination: Bloodlines (HBO MAX)
Look at
I really enjoy these new horror -rates with good reviews, right? So x impressed the critics after years of flops and Final destination blood linesThe sixth film of the franchise did the same earlier this year. So much, it is now technically considered the best in the franchise.
Fortunately, the series’ latest post is now streamed at HBO Max. Get ready to be afraid of, good, almost about any The everyday object as a franchise continues to kill its topics in the most unexpected ways. If you want something to satisfy your bloodlust this weekend, don’t look anymore. – – Lucy Buglass. Senior entertainment writer
Head of War (Apple TV+)
Look at
I’ve always felt that there are not almost enough TV shows diving into the Hawaii story, which is why I’m so glad that Apple TV+ has finally stepped up.
Head of War is a new historic drama that puts the limelight on the Polynesian islands’ powerful chiefs before colonization reshaped everything at the end of the 18th century. Jason Momoa plays Ka’iana, a warrior manager determined to unite the four Hawaii kingdoms when Western forces weave. It is based on real events and as visually astonishing as it is culturally rich.
The first two episodes are streaming now, with new episodes that fall every Friday until the final on September 19. I’ve already got this up on my watchlist – and if you’re even a little curious, I would recommend diving into this new Apple TV –original – Amelia Schwanke, senior entertainment editor

Miley Cyrus: something beautiful (Hulu/Disney+)
First there were Taylor Swift’s Epocher Tour movie then come Renaissance: A movie by Beyoncé. Now it’s Miley’s turn to shine, with her own music movie Something beautiful To be self -described as a “pop opera” and is now out on Hulu and Disney+. Think less Starlight Express And more chic visual film, which is essentially a continuous music video for each track on the synonymous album.
Essentially, this is great for singing to Bangerz (see what I did there?) You may have missed from Cyrus in the last year that has been busy redirecting itself as the pop-rock icon that we learn to love again. Rumors say that if you then stream the album on Spotify, you can allegedly be invited to a Hannah Montana-themed event (this is not confirmed but dare to dream). – – JV
Built in Birmingham: Brady and the Blues (Prime Video)
Look at
I love a good underdog story – and Birmingham City FC’s season 2024/25 is just that. Like Wrexham, Birmingham has seen a huge increase in performance, popularity and sponsorship since American-Hollywood investors came aboard and now you can watch it all play out Built in Birmingham: Brady & The Blues On Amazon’s streaming platform ..
The Docus series tracks the club’s transformation under NFL legend Tom Brady, who became a minority owner in 2023.
