Armed men blocked the national motorway in the Rirkan area of Barkhan in Balochistan and shot seven people died after taking them out of the passenger trainers they traveled in, Express News reported late Tuesday.
The report quoted its sources and stated that the Quetta administration had stopped by passenger cars in Rakhni, Biwata and Maikhtar, adding that Barkhan -assistant commissioner confirmed the deaths in the shooting.
The incident follows, the killing of 11 workers in an improvised explosion device (IED) is blasting in the Shahrag area of the Harnai District. Officially said the terrorist attack hit the vehicle when coal miners workers traveled to a market in the district on Friday.
Friday’s attack was not the first time coal miners have been targeted in the region. In the past, workers working in culminates have been kidnapped and killed in similar attacks and raising concerns about the security situation in the area.
