Thanks to The wounded closetwhich won ‘Best Image’ at the 82th Academy Awards, Kathryn Bigelow broke a huge record by becoming the first woman to win Oscar for ‘Best Director’.
Bigelow’s war drama gives an insight into one of the most dangerous tasks in battle: Disarming bombs. Sergeant William James (Jeremy Renner), who was set during the Iraq war, takes over as leader of an elite -American bomb -bodiating team, but adopts a very second approach to team management.
His ignoring protocol surprises the rest of his team, especially his subordinate Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) and Eldridge (Brian Geraghty), who fears James’ actions will make them kill. Fighting to resonate with their new leader, James’ actions cause a chaotic spiral.

During a mission to Mars, a team of astronauts finds themselves against an unpredicted storm. Forced to abandon their mission and return to earth, astronaut and botanist Mark Watney (Damon) is hit during evacuation and is assumed to be dead by the other members of the team – but he survives.
Stranded on the red planet with dwindling food supply, Watney uses its botany skills to grow food and find its own survivors until the next Mars mission in four years. When NASA discovers that he is still alive, they hatch a plan to bring him home.

Set in the 1950s, IP man 2 IP man (Donnie Yen) follows as he moves from Foshun to Hong Kong under the British colonial rule to open a martial arts school and introduce troubled young people for the art of wing chun.
He finds himself struggling to open his school when the local martial arts masters insist that he defeat them before school opens. After serving their respect, his school attracts the attention of the brutal British boxing master known as ‘The Twister’ (Darren Shahlavi), who will not stop by nothing to tear down the Chinese martial arts community.

Both critics and audiences loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem When it was released, a respectable audience score of 90% earned the Rotten Tomatoes. Its voice -acting role crew is also very impressive and enrolls the talents of John Cena, Rose Byrne, Ayo Edebiri and Paul Rudd to bring the characters to life.
The famous band of Four Turtle Brothers has lived a secluded life, protected from the human world. Together with Reporter April O’Neil (Edebiri), the turtles go on a mission to become superheroes and stop crime boss superfly (Ice Cube), a mutant fly with his own army of mutant animals.
Their mission becomes more difficult when they find out that Superfly’s plan is more evil than they expected who plans to use special technology to mutate the remaining animals in New York City and take over humanity.
