90,000 HAJJ PILGRIMS TO RAVE UNDER THE GOVERNY

Minister of Religious Affairs and Interreligious Harmony, Sardar Mohammad Yousuf, announced on Sunday that 90,000 pilgrims will travel to Saudi -Arabia under the government’s Hajj scheme for the 2025 season.

In a press conference at Haji camp in Lahore, Yousuf revealed that Hajj flights would begin on April 29 and assured the public that extensive events were made for Pilgrim’s smooth relief.

“The first phase of the Hajj training was completed before Ramadan, and the second phase is held from May 8 at Punjab University,” you said, Yousuf noted that Pilgrims from all over the country would be trained to ensure that they are fully prepared for their spiritual journey.

The Minister emphasized that his visit to Lahore was to review the Hajj events, especially as a large number of pilgrims would depart from the city.

“Pilgrims are the guests of Allah, and we want to make sure everything is in place to serve Allah’s guests to the best of their ability,” he said.

Yousuf also mentioned that the Ministry of Religious Affairs had issued further instructions on Pilgrim’s vaccinations as well as other important preparations for their journey.

In addition, the minister emphasized that the government aimed to provide unmatched services to pilgrims over the next two months. He shared that he had had detailed discussions with Saudi authorities on medical services, transport and accommodation schemes for Hajj.

Yousuf also briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif about these events to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj season.
