Reese has always been one who is vocal about her team, and she clearly doesn’t like the direction it takes in her second year.
The sky is led by head coach Tyler Marsh in his first year and takes over Teresa WeatherSpoon after ending 13-27 last season.
As Weatherspoon was relieved of his duties, Reese vocalized her dissatisfaction with the move, but the sky went into the season in the hope of turning the tide and reaching the playoffs. Unfortunately for them, they look against next season to make it happen.

Reese said she will be proactive in getting the league’s top talent to the windy city this season.
“I’m willing and want to play with the best,” Reese added. “And yet I can help get the best here, that’s what I want to do this offseason to make sure we attract the best of the best because we can’t settle for what we have this year.”
Chicago has not been able to get hold of Top Free Agent Talent in recent years, with Courtney VanderSloot, who tore her ACL early this season as they were their biggest signing of the previous free agency period.

Reese said, if the sky can’t generate more talent on the guard schedule, she may have to move forward.
“I’m very vocal about what we need and what I want,” Reese said. “I want to be here in my career, but if things do not pan, I may of course have to move in a different direction and do what is best for me.
“But while I’m here, I will try to remain open -minded over what I have here and maximize it as much as I can.”
And in terms of VanderSloot, Reese was Stump with his assessment that moved into 2026.
“We can’t trust Courtney to come back at the age she’s on,” Reese explained. “I know she wants to be a big asset to us, but we can’t trust it. We need someone probably a little younger with some experience, someone who has played the game and is willing to compete for a championship and have done it before.”

Since entering the league, Reese has an average of a double double per day. Fight, although some offenders will say cleaning up the boards with their own unanswered shots, the statistics blow up. Reese has an average of 14.6 points and 12.6 rebounds over 29 games this season.
