The question “What if we combined this with it?” Has brought us many wonder over the years, including Spork, Jorts and Kenwood FM radio. And now Soundcores Nebula X1 Pro is connected: It’s Anker’s Nebula X1 Laser Projector combined with a Star Wars droid. I mean, a party speaker.
Anker has rolled the Nebula projector line into his Soundcore AV brand, so this projector’s official name is the soundcore of Anker Nebula X1 Pro. And Anker’s product pictures do a pretty good job of hiding the fact that the big sound system inside Pro means it’s pretty big and subsequently looks like Moff Tarkin’s trash can.
What matters, of course, is what’s inside. And what’s inside here is both very light and very high.
Anker Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro: Key Specifications and Price
Anker says this is the first portable projector with both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and it comes with a double 8-inch 80W woofers for a severe bone bass. The front speakers can be used as a sound beam or as free speakers, and there are double wireless rear speakers that get away from the body to create a full surround system.
The projectorbit is the newly launched Nebula X1 with Anker’s Laser forge 2.0 4K Triple-Laser Optical Engine, which delivers 3,500 ANSI Lumens and 110% of the Rec.2020 color. The image processor delivers an alleged 5,000: 1 native contrast and 56,000: 1 dynamic contrast, and there is AI-driven adjustment to automatic size, focus, correct and balance image with adaptive brightness and contrast.
The chassis comes with an extractible handle, smooth rolling wheels and IP43 water and dust resistance.
Anker Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro is launched on Kickstarter on September 22, 2025, and pricing is $ 4,000 to $ 5,000 (approx. £ 2,970 / AU $ 6,120 to £ 3,715 / AU $ 7,655 before tax).
