Skate Launched in early access across a wide range of platforms next week (September 16). EA already has detailed a fairly full Skate Roadmap for the next few months, with many major features to be added to the developing Multiplayer skating.
Thanks to some Skate Early access we played the game and found that it was “a great game to just skate or hang out with friends”. You can read more in our full Skate Preview. If early glimpses are something to walk on, Skate Could actually have a very successful launch. Hopefully, Skate End up ranking a lot on our best list of crossplay games when fully launched.

Skate Roadmap – here is what comes to early access
Skate Early access is released September 16, 2025. From A lot of updates are planned in the next few months and over. Here’s what to expect:
- Season 1 (October 21): Two seasonal events (skate-in-between, 7-layer maple harvest); Skate pass; Quality of life improvements
- Season 2 (December 21): New Co-Op game mode; 2 seasonal events; Party Voice Chat; New Gameplay tricks (impossible and extended hand plants); Replay editor improvement
- Season 3 (TBC): Leaderboards; Open World Collection Objects; More character columns (tattoos); Player created parts; New game modes; New GamePlay -Tricks (Darkskides and Expanded Foot Plants)
What to expect from skate early access updates
As you can see, Skate Updates tend to add a mix of quality of life upgrades and seasonal events. According to EA, every season will include the following:
- New treasurey areas
- New challenges
- New seasonal events
- New fire partners
- New cosmetics
- New numbers added to audio tracks
- Error fixes
- Life quality updates
