Pakistani Cambridge -Students can now see Answer -Scripts

Karachi:

Unlike the country’s official educational board, Cambridge International studies have for the first time started the process of showing answers -manuscripts to Pakistani students.

In one step taken in accordance with principles of transparency, O and a level student will now be able to see their answer scripts online and decides, after reviewing them, whether to apply for control of their copies. In particular, the process of seeing the answer scripts will be completely free.

This step was announced by Country Manager for Cambridge International in Pakistan, Uzma Yousuf, during his visit to Karachi while talking to media representatives. Cambridge’s Marketing Communication Manager, Arsalan Rabbani, was also present at the occasion.

It is worth noting that the rules for educational board across all provinces, including Sindh, do not allow students to see their answer sheets on matriculation or intermediate levels. By giving more details, Yousuf said all Cambridge affiliated schools have gained access to exam copies for each topic of their enrolled students.

Now any student who wants to see their manuscripts can visit their school and see them. If they find it necessary, they can apply for control. Yousuf noted that this process will be completely free for students, and Cambridge also does not charge fees from schools.

In response to a question, the national chief stated that Pakistan has the highest number of Cambridge students who are enrolled in the O and A level, with the number reaching up to 130,000. She revealed that the United States of America ranks number two in the number of enrolled students, followed by China, India and Dubai.

Yousuf also noted that there are about 800 schools affiliated with Cambridge in Pakistan. With regard to the attachment of specific government schools in Sindh with Cambridge, she mentioned that discussions have taken place with Sindh’s Minister of Education, Sardar Shah.

It has allegedly been decided that the first step will be to move forward with teacher education. In this regard, the Minister of Education allegedly noted that there is an institution for teacher education in Sindh, which is a positive development for the development of affiliation and integration with Cambridge.
