Seattle Seahawk’s wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba expressed his dissatisfaction with a punishment for the world to hear.

Smith-Njigba, 23, was called for a holding penalty that took a touchdown from the board of directors in the fourth quarter of Seahawks ’23 -20 victory over Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night at State Farm Stadium.

The Seahawks, driving back Zach Charbonnet, seemed to have a rushing touchdown from just within the 10-yard line, but Smith-Njigba held onto a defensive back and pulled the flag.

Smith-Njigba was shown and talked to a judge and then turned away right in front of the head judge Alex Kemp while announcing the penalty for the crowd and issued his frustrations.

“It’s some bulls —!” Smith-Njigba shouted, which was caught on Kemp’s microphone high and clear.

Kemp stopped talking and staring at Smith-Njigba as he passed by before resuming the penalty. The Seahawks were held for a field goal on this possession to make it 20-6.

“Good call of Alex Kemp not to throw [a flag] – You know it’s one thing if you say something in an open microphone. But if the microphone is not open, you get away with it, ”said Michaels.

Smith-Njigba had four catches in 79 yards in the victory, including a catch of the final possession to create Kicker Jason Myers for the game-winning field target for Seahawks.
