- QUIXANT IQON3 Mini PC Security features include TPM 2.0, AES256 and protected NVRAM
- The robust chassis makes quiet cooling viable in crowded casino environments
- Double PCIe Gigabit Ethernet ensures stable connection to cabinet network
Quixant has introduced his latest addition to the Iqon setup, a quiet Mini -PC designed for game cabinets in casinos and retro arcade environments.
The company says Iqon3 arrives at a robust, passively cooled chassis that is finished in the company’s various orange color and is run by AMD Ryzen Pro 8000 APUS.
With a configuration that mixes modern interfaces and older connections, this device offers flexible hardware to operators looking for a workstation tailored to game applications.
Hardware Foundation and CPU selection
AMD Ryzen Pro 8000 APU in this unit integrates CPU and Radeon 7x0m graphics into a single package.
This approach allows the device to run up to four 4K Ultra HD screens while supporting DisplayPort 1.4 and hardware video covering.
Memory support extends to 64 GB through two DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM connectors and places it closer to workstation level specifications rather than hardware on entry-level.
The system provides a wide set of storage options, including an M.2 PCIE 4.0 NVME CLOT, TO CFAST 2.0 -STUDS AND TWO SATA3 slots.
Quixant also offers optional EEPROM storage up to 128 kB for users requiring embedded configuration or security settings.
One of the most striking aspects of the IQON3 Mini -PC is its gate cover.
Its external settings include four USB 3.2 gates on the front and four USB 2.0 gates on the page, supplemented with internal headings for further extension.
For networks, the unit supports double PCIe gigabit ethernet interfaces and six configurable ports that support SAS, JCM, RS485 and RS232.
This device also supports Spi and I2C headings and Ibutton interfaces for secure approval, data logging and peripheral expansion.
In addition to performance, IQON3 TPM 2.0 integrates, unique digital serial number identifiers, protected NVRAM and AES256 encryption.
Physical protection, such as a metal box with a keylock and monitoring systems for writing chart changes, reinforces its positioning for controlled environments.
For audio, it includes a standard HD 7.1 controller with amplified stereo outputs to 15W per day. Channel, enough to serve cabinet installations without extra hardware.
