Several NFL teams desperately tried to ban “Tush Push” this season, which has been notorious for being a staple for Philadelphia Eagles’ success.

Eagles have converted a first down or scored a touchdown of approx. 87% of their TUSH PUSHES Since 2022-Those have made two Super Bowls in this span and won this last season by finishing Kansas City Chiefs’ hope for a three-peat.

Green Bay Packers made the official push (word game calculated) to ban the piece and it received a lot of support. However, there were not enough votes to ban it.

Well, Quinnipiac University wanted to run it by football fans in the state of Pennsylvania. Perhaps they are somewhat partial, but the recent vote found that 72% of the state’s fans believe the play should be allowed, while 16% will have it banned.

Twenty-one percent of Eagles fans in the state support allow the piece as opposed to 8%against it. It compares with 65% of fans in general who are in order and 23% that are not.

“When questions arose as to whether Turh Push should ban Tush -push, NFL said NFL. NFL fans in Pennsylvania clearly agree with this feeling. Just because the other teams can’t stop, it’s not a good enough reason to get rid of it,” said Nick Pietruszkiewicz, assistant professor of journalism and program director for sports communication at Quinnipiac University.

“NFL fans do not appreciate it when the league colored down or prohibits risky, yet exciting aspects of the game,” added Quinnipiac University School of Communications assistant professor in media studies Dr. Brittani Webb. “In the case of the controversial tush -push, the support crosses the Eagles’ signature games fandom lines and follows the same ‘light them lay’ attitude.”

Eagles are starting a hot start in their Super Bowl defense and winning each of their first four games this season, including against chiefs.

However, the piece has been under the microscope this season in the middle of several fake starts that have not been called.
