The largest high school district at registration and rural area in the state of California voted 3-2 to adopt a title IX decision that would only give female students in girls’ sports on Monday.

The vote comes as the State Education Agency is facing a lawsuit by the US Ministry of Justice for alleged violations of title IX by giving biological men the opportunity to play in girls’ sports.

The Kern High School District regularly enrolls more than 40,000 students and employs more than 1,700 employees a year across his 31 schools. Now it will be the 16th school district, individual school or educational councils in California to adopt a change to comply with section IX and reject the current state policy that protects trans athletes in girls’ sports.

The resolution was written by the Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Education President Sonja Shaw. Shaws District is one of the 16 in California, who also adopts a decision on the issue.

“I wrote this decision to be the voice of our society – to stand with our girls and protect the truth that should never have been the spave,” Shaw said. “Boys are boys. Girls are girls. God made them beautiful as they are. It’s time to put justice, truth and common sense back in education.”

Kern County School District, separated from the Kern High School District, but shares a county, was one of the other districts that suggested its own decisions back in August.

Trans athletes have legally been allowed to compete in girls’ sports under California’s State Law dating back to 2013. President Donald Trump signed “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” Performing Order Back in February, but California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) became one of the first high school sports league the order.

Trump’s DOJ announced that it would sue the state of the question back in July, weeks after a trans athlete won two state titles in the girls’ orbit and field on the last May. DOJ is involved in a similar lawsuit with Main’s educational agencies on the same question, and has given a deadline 10 October to Minnesota’s to change his policies on the issue, otherwise a lawsuit will probably also be launched.

The state’s continued activation of trans athletes in girls’ sports has resulted in several controversial related events throughout the state, and some have resulted in separate litigation.

Inside the Gavin Newsoms transcent volleyball crisis

In Riverside County, two girls cross -country skiers, Riverside Unified School District, sued a trans -athlete taking one of their varsity stains. The trial provided partially earlier proposals for rejection in September. In the same county, girls ‘volleyball players have sued Jurupa Unified School District after spending the previous three seasons of sharing a court and dressing room with a Trans -teammate – the same athlete who took the girls’ courses and field titles back in the spring.

The Gavin Newsom government has openly said that he agrees that men who compete in girls’ sports are “unreasonable” and has even said he has heard complaints about the question in his state from “like -minded” parents on his children’s football matches.

Newsom’s office previously delivered a statement to Pakinomist Digital, which suggested that the state’s ongoing trans athlete question is not his responsibility.

“CIF is an independent nonprofit that controls high school sports. California’s educational department is a separate constitutional office. Neither of them is under the author’s authority. CIF and CDE have declared that they follow existing state law – a law passed in 2013 and signed by Governor Jerry Brown (not Newsom) and in accordance with 21 states. Governor a legislation

ONE Bipartisan Survey By the Public Policy Institute of California, most of California residents found against biological male trans athletes competing in women’s sports.

This number included more than 70% of State school parents.

“Most Californians support that those who require transnry athletes compete for teams that matched the gender they were assigned at birth,” the vote states.

“Solid majorities in adults (65%) and probably voters (64%) support that requires transking athletes to compete on teams that match the gender they were assigned at birth, not the gender they identify with. An overwhelming majority of public school parents (71%) support such a requirement.”
