College football match rises down in chaos, resulting in suspension

A NCAA Division II College -Football match between Central State University Marauders and Fort Valley State University Wildcats fell into chaos on Saturday after the last flute was blown up.

Central State defeated Fort Valley State, 18-14, to spoil Wildcats’ return day. But the action did not end there.

A video sent to social media by journalist Kalan Hooks showed two Wildcats players who entered a melee with a player from Marauders. The players started dog arrow on top of each other with some strokes thrown in Ruckus. Just when things seemed to cool down and the players were separated, another skirmishis seemed near the bleaching machines.

“Trainer, get your players off the field,” the public address -ad -was heard of saying.

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), which both football programs belong to, announced on Monday that 20 players were suspended over Brouhaha – 11 players from Central State and Nine from Fort Valley. Both main coaches were also suspended.

“Actions with unsportsmanlike behavior have no place in inter -college athletics or within the southern inter -collegial athletic conference,” SIAC Commissioner Anthony Holloman said in a statement. “I am extremely disappointed that this event has overshadowed what was otherwise a very competitive football match.”

The conference said both schools violated its code of ethical policy and were fined with a non -public amount.

“We are not condoling behavior that lacks these standards, and we take the necessary steps to ensure that our student athletes understand the importance of representing the university with Wildcat Pride and professionalism on and off the field,” Fort Valley State said in a statement.
