The Arizona Cardinals Reportedly, fine has head coach Jonathan Gannon $ 100,000 for his sideline change of driving Emari Demercado back.
Gannon was upset after Demercado fell football before crossing the finish line on what should have been a 72-yard touchdown that would have set up Arizona 28-6 early in the fourth quarter. Instead, the Cardinals continued to lose weight to Tennessee Titans22-21.
An animated Gannon was later stained to enter Demercado’s face, while offensive Lineman Paris Johnson Jr. Tried to comfort his teammate, but it apparently cost Gannon the six -digit punishment.

Former Dallas Cowboy’s wide receiver Dez Bryant was not happy with the fine.
“I do not agree with Cardinals Fining coach Gannon $ 100K … I think it only happened because of the soft a-world we live in day …” He posted on X. “If you are an athlete with any kind of integrity and respect for the game..You will understand that situation … this is football. .. ”
Gannon seemed to show remorse to the incident as he spoke with journalists on Monday.

“I woke up this morning and didn’t feel good with it, honestly,” Gannon said via Espn. “I just told that [the team]I let the kind of moment of what happened get better off me there. Obviously, I’m trying to be emotionally stable and calm because my job is to solve problems during a game and lead the charge on it. So it’s not really who I am, who I want to be and I told guys it today.
“So it’s a mistake of me, and it’s like everyone in there, everyone made some kind of mistake yesterday, which culminates with why we didn’t win the game and we can’t let it happen forward.”

This is the first time an NFL header has been fined for a change of player since Bruce Arians, who coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was disciplined to hit security Andrew Adams’ helmet during a wild-card round game against Philadelphia Eagles.
Buccaneers anchored Arians $ 50,000 for the incident.
