- Marc Benioff opens the Dreamforce 2025 that pays tribute to “Agentic Enterprise”
- CEO says Salesforce should be customer zero in trying these new products
- Salesforce reveals more on Agentforce 360 and other new offers
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff has declared the age of “Agentic Enterprise”, where AI plays a greater role than ever before for companies of all sizes.
The company co -founder and CEO opened the Dreamforce 2025 with a typical Rambunctious Keynote as he spoke through his latest round with updates and releases – of which the new Agentforce 360 platform.
But the top of the mind, of course, was the growing role of AI tools for businesses, as human workers and agents will have to work together in this mix – which Salesforce calls the ‘agent business’.
Ai everywhere
Welcome participants for “The Largest, Most Exciting Dreamforce ever”, was Benioff in a typical charismatic mood and drove through the huge amounts of new additions to Salesforce’s platforms at a fast pace.
Benioff noted that there is a “very real” gorge by using Agentic AI, adding that it is not enough to implement Enterprise AI models whose solutions are not integrated and grounded into proper governance.
“This agent – Gorge is split – it’s a bifurcation. Your customers are elevated, what about your business?”
“We want to connect to our customers in a whole new way … The speed and growth of innovation has been fantastic,” noted Benioff.
But he emphasized that when he at home on his phone, “with the help of amazing AI and LLMs”, is the experience “So much worse” when he comes to the office and logs on AI tools there.
Salesforce wants to play a key role in promoting AI technology, especially when it comes to Agentforce, Benioff added, and said, “What we realized in Salesforce is that we have to be a customer zero … We have to be able to go from one, to two, to three, to four, to five and show you what we are doing.”
“We make 11 trillion e emails a year at Salesforce, but each of these e emails is a one -way conversation -but what if each of these e emails was a two -way conversation?”
“AI alone is not enough. It’s not enough just to have an LLM. It needs (Agentforce) capabilities to connect it, to give the context, to give it protective frames and all the critical pieces.”
“You have to get your data right. You have to get to more integrated solutions. You have to get the priorities right. You have to get the control right.”
“We all saw that just making our own models or rolling it ourselves or dying it will not do it. We have to do our work at Salesforce for you and we have to all be on this journey together to get to this better place. It is in our vision the agent business.”
“This is the next revolution,” Benioff declared, “We have undergone a predictable AI, and we are now entering this new Agent AI Revolution.”
Benioff highlighted how the company has continued its 1% promise, where it donates 1% equity, 1% of its time, and 1% of its product for good causes, including a new $ 30 million obliged to education and AI reading skills -which means Salesforce has now given $ 841 million, which is committed to 10 million nonprofit – 150 million for local schools in San Francisco and Oakland.
