- The De’Longhi Eletta Ultra is a new fully automatic espresso machine
- De’Longhi claims it is up to 65% quieter than its previous coffee machines
- It’s on sale now in the UK for £1,149.99 (approx $1,600 / AU$2,200)
De’Longhi has launched a new automatic coffee machine that it says is up to 65% quieter than its previous models. The De’Longhi Eletta Ultra has what the company calls ‘Silent Technology’, which muffles the sound of preparing your morning espresso so it doesn’t wake your family or give you a pre-caffeine headache.
Eletta Ultra offers a menu of 50 drinks, including customized options. If so many choices sound overwhelming, you can split them into hot and cold options or see them divided into seven curated menus, which should make it easier to find something you’ll enjoy.
There are two interchangeable milk carafes with different nozzles, so you can choose between hot and cold milk foam, and the option to use a ball of ground coffee as an alternative to the beans in the container.
In terms of features, the Eletta Ultra is a successor to the De’Longhi Eletta Explore, but with its updated design, it resembles the more premium De’Longhi Primadonna Aromatic. Confused? I’ve compiled each machine’s key specs below to make things clearer.
