- Openai gets a new new look centered around its own Openai Sans Font
- Rebrand has apparently been a job for more than a year
- Chatgpt, however, was hardly used for redesigned
Ten years after the company was founded, Openai revealed a total rebrand with updated logos and fonts.
Its update includes a fresh brand identity with a new font, word mark, symbol and color palette, but there have been no drastic changes to keep everything known.
The AL -Research and Implementation Company has issued full guidance to the updates online to retain partners, dealers, customers, developers, consultants, publishers and all other third parties in Løkken.
Openai reveals subtle rebrand
Talking with WallpaperOpenai said rebrand was driven by the need for a unified and coherent identity. Design of Design Veit Moeller and Design Director Shannon Jager admitted that Openai has so far presented itself by using an inconsistent interval of fonts, brands and colors.
Moeller revealed that Rebrand has been in the works for more than a year, and was initiated by CEO Sam Altman, who wanted a “more organic and more human” look.
Apart from launching its own Openai Sans writing type, the company has also updated its inventory pictures with photos from established photographers and abstract graphics reproduced by its very own Sora model.
Chatgpt has gained tremendous traction in the years since its first public preview. Despite Openai’s intention that it should be a research experiment, it got a million users within the first five days. By the end of 2024, it had more than 300 million active weekly users.
By tackling the elephant in the room, the designers confirmed a business mood that “technology should reinforce, not replace, the depth of human creativity,” added the updated images induce memory and that the typography carries tone. They were designed by an internal team instead of influencing a third -party agency, the couple confirmed.
Finally, the so -called ‘Blossom’ logo, which looks like a flower flower and consists of three intertwined triangles, is set to be used more sparingly, with the “Openai” wordmark is getting more use instead.
And for creative, who are concerned about the threat that AI poses to their livelihood, the designers confirmed that the redesign process was mostly handled in traditional ways, although chatgpt was used to inform calculations for different types of weights.
