- SIMS 4 Businesses and Hobby Extension Package will be launched next month
- It allows you to create your own small business
- It includes new skills, hopes, items and more
The next expansion package to The Sims 4 launched on March 6, and it’s one that I’ve always wanted.
As the name suggests, The Sims 4 Businesses and Hobbies Focusing on allowing you to create your own small business with lots of new skills and gears to help you create your own dream shop. You will have plenty of freedom about how to earn Simoleons, with a new ticket kioskelement that allows you to charge customers an entry fee or fee for their time spent in the premises.
Do you want to build a gym, art gallery or even a nightclub? This will finally let you do just that. You will also be able to designate a specific area of your home as open to the public (or even an employee-only space for up to five Sims that you have hired) that prevent random people from just showing up in private parts of your house.
New skills are also included in the package, including a tattoo capability that allows you to create and share your own custom designs. This is at the top of a pottery skill that sees your Sims making their own useful ceramic objects like plant pots. Presumably you will be able to sell your tattoo skills or clay creations to eager customers.
All this is gathered by the new idealistic and shady features that help you gear your character against certain ways of running a business. Business growth is rewarded with new business differences with dreams and tiles that are ideal for running a book or more questionable business respectively.
At the top of this there will be two new hopes: esteem entrepreneur for those who are eager to build a thriving store and master mentor if you prefer to focus on teaching others your abilities.
Of course it would not be an expansion package to The Sims 4 Without the addition of a new city. This time it is Nordhaven, a Scandinavian-themed city with a historic old town and trendy up-and-night district.
All in consideration it looks like a rather rounded package – even though part of me thinks some of this should have been included in Sims 4 comes to work Expansion Pack back in 2025, which first introduced retail lots. Still, I have hoped calmly on a small business overhaul, so I can’t wait to dive in when it arrives.
The Sims 4 Businesses and Hobbies will be available on all platforms where The Sims 4 can be played at the moment, including PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It is on top of the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
You can pre-order it now for $ 39.99 / £ 34.99, with early buyers searching ‘set-up shop’ digital content package, which comes with a cool statue, cute goodbidden case and special lamp.
