- Russo -brothers have revealed how Avengers 5 and 6 will vary from Infinity War and Endgame
- Judgment Day and Secret wars will tell “a beginning story”
- The couple has also discussed whether the film’s leaked concept art is real or not
Avengers: Judgment Day and Avengers: Secret Wars Will deviate from the last two Avengers films in a big way, Russo Brothers has teased.
Joe and Anthony Russo told the Brazilian outlet omelet that the films are being treated as a curtain heights for Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) next saga. Instead of serving exclusively as the culmination of Marvel’s Multiverse Saga, says the couple Avengers 5 and 6 will also serve as “a beginning story” that will pave the way for stories that will be part of phase 7 and beyond.
“The biggest thing ever happened is that we know you know is submerged in a 20 -movie arch and watching an end to that bow,” said Joe Russo. “What is convincing about these two new Avengers movies, are they a beginning. It’s a new beginning. We told a closing story [with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame] And now we have to tell a beginning story. “
The veteran filmmakers’ latest comments provide further insights into how they are approaching their next two MCU films, which are currently intended to arrive in May 2026 and May 2027.
In an exclusive interview with me earlier in March, Russos revealed which of Marvel’s Secret Wars comic series series from which they draw inspiration from to Avengers 5 and 6. As part of the same discussion, the couple could also tease the possibility that heroes from Marvel TV shows at Disney+ could be part of Judgment Day and/or Secret wars‘Role crews. With the routor of the main photography to begin in April, we may learn even more about the Marvel Phase 6 films if Marvel Studios does not prevent the information from leaking online.
‘That art wasn’t from Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars’
Speaking of leaks, the Russo brothers have also responded to reports of Avengers: Judgment Day and Avengers: Secret Wars Photos that recently appeared online.
At the beginning of March, I reported the news that Marvel had suffered a huge internal leakage after supposed concept art for Judgment Day and Secret wars was sent online. Not surprisingly, fans spent the days of poring over the artwork, with many statements that there was more than one element of authenticity around them, especially as concept art seemed to have been produced by a seemingly Marvel studios artist.
As part of a long chat with the Hollywood reporter, however, the Russo brothers denied the artwork was real. On the question of whether any of the leaked images, Avengers: Judgment Day or Secret wars“Before Anthony Russo added,” Nothing spoiled in there. It’s not our concept art. “
Of course, this may be the couple’s way of saving face or trying to throw fans out of the scent after Leak. Until the films are released in theaters, we cannot determine whether it is true or not. Scroll on next May and mid -2027, then!
