I took a tip today to get me started. The “vertical and grand” theme immediately made me think of piano, but when I released the keys and it was only a tip word, I started to be in doubt.
Pianos always make me think of British comedian Eric Morecambe, who had a fantastic sketch where he played piano to conductor André Previn. After Previn complained that he wasn’t playing the right notes, Morecambe replied: “I play all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.”
The only thing I can play on the piano (roughly in the correct order) is Just can’t get enough By Depeche Mode and Trust Me – Once you’ve heard it once, it will be enough for you.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
