King Charles’ role as a peace champion could make great progress with the United States, says an expert.
His Majesty, who has invited Donald Trump to another state visit to the UK, helps Britain create close relationships with America.
According to Daily Mail’s Diary Editor Richard Eden, His Majesty plays an important role in world peace.
He said: “This is discussed at the highest levels. It would be a wonderful feature that would symbolize Britain’s close relationship with the United States.
“Donald Trump loves Britain and has great respect for the royal family, so we think he would see the benefits of this.
“Hopefully, associate membership could be followed by full membership, making Commonwealth even more important as a global organization.”
The source added: “Commonwealth is also a big forum to solve differences between nations, and the king has shown that he is a natural peace maker.”
