In season two of The last of usFans have expected a romance between the protagonists, Ellie and Dina.
Isabela Merced will play the new character as she reflects on the love interest and her sizzling chemistry with Bella Ramsey, who played Ellie.

The creators of season one have already introduced Ellies Queerness when she fell for her female friend Riley in section 7.
Bella previously opened about their sexuality. “You never fully know who you are, it’s ever evolving. But I definitely think people have gathered that I’m not 100 percent equal. I’m a little wavy, you know? That’s what I want to say.”
“Relationships are so complex anyway, and if you are in the public eye, adding everyone who has an opinion about them, an extra layer of difficulties,” the actress told Elle In 2023.
