Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with US acting ambassador Natalie Baker on Thursday to discuss the relationship between Pakistan and the United States, terrorist efforts and mutual cooperation.

The meeting took place in the presence of prime minister of the inner Talal Chaudhry, American political adviser Zach Harkenrider and the federal secretary of domestic Khurram Agha.

During the meeting, Ambassador Baker Straight Jaffar Express attacked and other recent terrorist events and expressed compassion for the victims’ families. She confirmed US support for Pakistan’s fight against terrorism and emphasized the need for global cooperation to tackle this challenge. The discussion also included plans to hold an terrorist dialogue in June and strategies to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Minister Mohsin Naqvi declared that Pakistan is taking decisive action against terrorists and developing a comprehensive terrorist policy. He also acknowledged the united states’ appreciation of Pakistan’s efforts to fight terrorism.

In addition, the meeting addressed the issue of undocumented Pakistanis in the United States, where Naqvi insured full cooperation on their repatriation. It was also announced that the Pak-US Caucus meeting will be held in New York on April 30 to further improve strategic ties between the two nations.

Ambassador Baker also praised the ongoing development projects in Islamabad and recognized Pakistan’s obligation to economic and infrastructure progress.
