President of the Prime Minister’s youth program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, has emphasized the integration of Madrassas into the national mainstream and praises the basic education provided by these institutions.
The Prime Minister’s youth program conducted an advisory session on the National Adolescent and Youth Policy at the Institute of Management Sciences (IM Sciences) here Monday.
The session was led by Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and participated by students, faculty members, religious scholars and central stakeholders from various sectors.
Under his extensive and passionate address, Mashhood emphasized the central role of the youth in nation-building. He said that despite the historical challenges facing Pakistan, today’s youth has the power to transform the country’s future.
He noted the resilience of the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in the light of terrorism, climate change and financial challenges and praised their willingness to move forward with hope and strength.
He emphasized that Pakistan was created with a vision of equality, unity and opportunity, and today the nation must return to the basic principles.
With reference to the global and regional challenges that countries such as Syria, Iraq and Palestine face, he emphasized the importance of unity and inclusive development to prevent internal disagreement and ensure national progress developed through broad consultation and inclusive planning.
Mashhood announced a 26-town youth engagement tour aimed at involving youth from all walks of life, including college students, technical workers, mattress students and youth outside the school in policy development and implementation.
He highlighted key initiatives under the Prime Minister’s youth program, which aimed to strengthen young Pakistanis through targeted support and opportunities.
These include Digital Youth Hub, a comprehensive online platform that offers scholarships, internships, job records and personal career guidance; The largest ever national effort to expand technical and vocational education, preparation of youth in global employment markets; the national employment policy that adapts federal and provincial strategies to guarantee decent working opportunities; And a firm obligation to girls’ education, emphasized by Pakistan’s international agreements with OIC nations to ensure that no child is denied education due to lack of resources.
He called for the rejection of any narrative that creates divisions within Pakistani society, and emphasizes that unity, discipline and belief are important for progress.
