Windows 11 24H2 Update arrives in preview with important solution for blue screens – but I still wouldn’t hurry to install this upgrade

  • Windows 11 24H2 PCS now has an optional (preview) update that rolls out
  • It provides exclusive features to Copilot+ PCs and other goodies for all devices
  • Given the nature of the features – and the most important solution for degraded problems – I would recommend waiting for this one, even more than your usual preview update

Windows 11 24H2 has a new optional update that, apart from sending recall LIVE on Copilot+ PCS, has some goodies for non-ai PCs also-Inclusive an important resolution of an error causing blue screens. However, I would bite your time before I grabbed this one, for reasons I will come back to a short time.

As Windows latest reports that the preview update to 24H2, which has just been fully released, is starting the problem of Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) that broke some Windows 11 users. These events brought PCs to a grinding stop with cryptic error messages of some kind (such as ‘safe core errors’ or ‘critical process died’).
