You can now automatically change compromised passwords with Chromes Begimization Manager

  • Chrome’s password administrator now allows for automated password change
  • The new feature helps reduce friction, Google says
  • Passwords remain the first approval method

Users can now change compromised passwords directly in their Chrome browser, with just a few clicks. This is the promise made in a new Google blog that discusses the comprehensive changes that the company brings to user approval and identity verification.

Most browsers are already supplied with a (rudimentary form of) password administrator that allows users to generate strong passwords, store their credentials and automatically fill them for speed and convenience.
