7. Google I/O gave us AI updates in masses
Google’s annual I/O event took place this week when the tech giant made several major messages centered on AI. Among the most significant revelations was the roll -out of AI mode in the United States, enabling users to talk to Google instead of using it exclusively as a search engine, and the release of Gemini Live on iOS and Android, allowing users to allow Gemini access to their camera and screen on an iPhone.
Another important speech point was to introduce the video generation tool, VEO 3 .. This represents a significant improvement over previous video tools, especially by adding the ability to sync voice with the generated moving images.
When we talk about pictures, Imagen 4 was also revealed, which raised image generation at Gemini to a whole new level, enabling the creation of impressive visuals in just a few seconds.
Elsewhere, Google upgraded its models and showcased the power of Gemini 2.5 and introduced a new Ultra-Premium subscription called Google AI Ultra. This subscription provides access to all the company’s most advanced AI features for a full $ 250 a month.
6. Google showed Android XR

The new Google operating system made for Android Headsets and Android glasses has finally had its time in the limelight thanks to Google I/O 2025.
In its core, Google is Gemini. AI in connection with your glasses’ cameras and display can recommend a place to eat based on what you are requesting, and then give you directions to where to find it. It can perform live translation, and on a headset it can use Google Maps’ immersive prospects of practically transporting you anywhere in the world.
We know that 5 brands are working on AR and AI glasses: Samsung, Warby Parker, Xreal, Kering Eyewear and Gentle Monster, although no release dates or prices have been given yet.

The world’s largest computer technology show, Computex 2025, has been underway in Taiwan, and we participated to bring you all the latest news and opinions about the coolest new computer gadgets shown there.
Huawei gave us a folding laptop that looks like it’s ripped right out of a mission impossible flick, MSI’s new Nintendo Switch 2 rival became official, and Intel gave us new battlemage GPUs to perhaps make budget 1440p gaming practical again.
4. Apple invited us to WWDC 2025

Just before Google I/O started, Apple formally sent invitations to the opening key to WWDC 2025 and shared more details about the week -long developer conference. As with previous Apple Special Events, it will all start at.
It will also be a big moment for Apple that marked a year since Apple Intelligence debuted, and the expected reveal of its next generation of platforms. On the latter, we expect the next generation of iOS – iOS 19, iPados, Watchos, Macos, Tvos and even Visionos to Apple Vision Pro.
The rumor mill points to some of the aesthetics of Vision Pro’s interface that spread to other platforms, making it likely that the most significant redesign for iOS and iPhone’s software is watching for quite a long time. It is sufficient to say that there is a lot of hype and hope leading up to WWDC 25, but also many questions about how Apple will address Apple Intelligence. A few months back, what the promised AI-Infunded Siri upgrades were pushing back, and so far the Apple Intelligence features have been a bit affected or Miss.
We’ll see how Apple addresses all this when CEO Tim Cook and many others take the virtual phase for WWDC 2025 opening card.

The latest Whoop Fitness Tracker has arrived next to Whoop 5.0, and controversy around his arrival aside, we have excited it.
Its automatic training tracking seems to surpass the best passive training tracker (Oura Ring 4) and its granular details of health and fitness statistics added to the medical quality functions it offers as ECG and blood pressure functionality that it seems to establish itself as an important companion in the construction of a competition or event.
Although its guilt-tripping trends make it less ideal for more relaxed users who want to do some training but also participate in suboptimal behavior such as staying past their bedtime.
2. Fujifilm launched a retro compact camera

Fujifilm revealed X Half, a retro compact camera filled with surprising and unique features. From its Twin Vertical LCD screens to its charming movie camera recording mode, Diptych composites and of course Fujifilm’s movie simulations, this little digital camera is a love letter for half frame film photography.
We had a short convenient with the x-half in front of its message and it reminded us of how funny photography can be. 1. Dyson launched a strange little vacuum

Dyson has revealed a new vacuum cleaner that looks absolutely nothing like the rest of the range. Dyson Pencilvac is incredibly streamlined with all its internal mechanics – including dust cup and engine – shrunk down and pressed into the 1.5 inch wide handle.
The floor head then consists of four fluffy rollers shaped like cones to prevent hair entangled and make it all float across the floor. This looks like a specialized hard floor model and it needs to be launched in Australia later this summer, but only in 2026 in the US and UK.
