Tourist places are witnessing high influx

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s tourist and scenic spots witnessed an extraordinary influx of visitors, with over 932,000 tourists visiting just three days in Eidul Azha.

Especially the SWAT region saw a significant influx of tourists. Famous destinations within SWAT, such as Madyan, Bahrain and the surrounding areas, greeted a total of 288,424 domestic tourists along with 63 foreign visitors. These figures highlight SWAT’s popularity as a first -class attraction for Pakistani tourists in Eid holidays.

Throughout the province, other major tourist places also experienced high visitors, including Galiyat, 177,000 tourists; Naran Kaghan, 168,000 tourists; Malam Jabba, 160,000 tourists; and Dir Upper, 85,000 tourists.

These statistics were compiled with the help of the police and Balochistan charges control points, tourist police, assistant commissioners and field officers from relevant development authorities.

During the directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur and adviser to Tourism Zahid Chanzeb, excellent facilities were provided for tourists.

Visitors very much praised the effective arrangements for parking, security, guidance and medical assistance. Young staff from the Tourist Police provided exemplary service to tourists, while the Department of Tourism’s helper line 1422 remained in operation 24 hours a day.

The significant arrival of tourists in merged districts such as Khyber and Bajaur also highlighted the new tourist development in these areas.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa culture and Tourism Authority played a key role in managing tourist events, supervision and the system’s provision.

Advisor of Tourism Zahid Chanzeb stated that the confidence that tourists showed is a source of pride. The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government and the cultural and tourism authority use all available resources to make the province a safe, modern and world-class tourist hub.
