- Mindseye has launched with several bugs and performance problems
- Players have taken to social media to share clips and frustrations
- The developer insists that corrections and improvements are in the works
Developer builds a rocket boy Mindseye has officially launched and the first impression has not been exactly glowing. No lack of players has taken to social media to express frustration in terms of the game’s performance, price points and a smash of unforgivable bugs and mistakes.
Some pretty unfortunate screens and clips have appeared on sites like X / Twitter. One shows a character that extends into an Eldritch -dentistry after being hit by a buggy. Another shows that facial animations are not exactly what we would call realistic, to put it easy.
Another rather humorous post shows that Mindseye’s Non-player character Civilians have a hard time fighting back when attacking, either by shooting their gun in the air or wandering into busy traffic.

Mindseye’s Steam Page also tells a pretty bleak story. At the time of writing, the game sits in a ‘mixed’ 42% assessment with approx. 800 user reviews.
“It has the typical poor unreal motor feeling,” says the best -rated review. “The story is something interesting, but the gameplay is just not -playful, it’s nowhere near optimized.”
“The game suffers from some serious technical problems,” reads another, “Objects and environments are loading too slowly, and you literally see them pop in existence right in front of you. It breaks down completely and gives the whole experience a very chopped and unfinished feeling.”
However, it’s not all bad. Near unanimous praise appears to be charged at Mindseye’s Early story beats pointing to an enjoyable sci-fi assumption and setting. Others also feel that gun games and driving are satisfactory as you could expect from a study containing ex-Grand Theft Auto talent.
Mindseye Launched launch with one day a patch that has not yet been implemented on the Xbox Series X | s consoles and the developer has taken to Reddit to promise additional benefit improvements (Thanks, Eurogamer). But so far you are probably better at avoiding Mindseye Until it has received some significant improvements.
