Nashville, Tenn. And Dallas Goedert does not have to give up his place behind Jalen hurts under the Philadelphia Eagles’ signature “tush push” game.
NFL owners allegedly entered a heated exchange last month while discussing a potential ban on the play that Eagles have found out to work better than any other team in the league.
Green Bay Packers suggested to ban Tush-Push, and ESPN reported that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie gave a “passionate speech” defending his team’s short garden call.

Ultimately, tush -push, or “brotherly shove”, remained in place when NFL owners rejected Packers’ rule change proposal.
Goedert couldn’t be happier.
“It’s a fantastic football game,” Goedert told Pakinomist Digital with a big smile at Tight End University Tuesday. “In my opinion, the third and one are the hardest spectacle. If someone runs through a hole and plays a spectacle in the back field, then your drive is over. We like to say that everything is first and nine for us. If we can get nine meters, we think we’re going to get the first down.”

The argument for those who were in favor of the famous Eagles account was that every team in the league could find out. The formation is on tape and everything is legal.
Philadelphia just performs it at a higher rate than anyone else, even Buffalo Bills who make their own with Josh Allen.
Goedert, standing right in the back, hurts and shines its back when the ball is snapped, said it’s something the offense works tirelessly.

“We’re working really hard on it. Our offensive line that are exercises for it,” he explained. “Pulling low and pulling the grass [up]. It’s not like we’re the only team that can do it. They can do it. They just aren’t that successful. “
In the spirit of “Teu”, Goed had a good retort for those who are still against the play today.
“To get rid of something people are good at, I make them stop throwing the ball to Travis [Kelce] Because he’s too good at catching it, ”he said jokingly.
While not practicing Tub -push until Eagle’s training camp, Goed got his reps with 80 of his colleagues NFL Tight Ends at Vanderbilt University when the fifth edition of TEU took place at the SEC institution.
In fact, George Kittle, San Francisco used the 49ers star, who co-founded the three-day working meeting with Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen, Goedert during his team meeting on Tuesday morning to explain the standard of what a big tight end in the NFL is.

“It feels really good. Early George would only show his movie, which is understandable,” said Goedert with a laugh. “Now that he’s expanded to other people, we all love to see each other. We all love to see target tapes and see people. It’s really cool to be the standard and know that the best in the industry sees your bond and is grateful for what you do for the position.”
As Goedert hopes to continue to grow the position, he also hopes to continue pushing his quarterback to first downs and even better, touchdowns, as tush push will not be filed for at least another season.
